Female Refuge Family Intervention Worker

2 Full time posts (37 hours per week) to be worked over 7 days on a rota basis

Fixed term contract until 31st October 2018

£ 21,519 per annum pro rata, plus pension contribution

To work in refuges across the North of the County

This post requires you to work with women, children and young people who are resident at the refuges. You will work alongside the Refuge Children’s services team to design and deliver creative, innovative, accessible and flexible programmes of work and activities through both one to one support and group work activities. The focus of the work will be on meeting the practical and emotional needs of the women, children and young people around their experience of Domestic Abuse.

Female Refuge Support Worker

25 hours per week based at Mansfield/Bassetlaw

£22,221 per annum, pro rata for part time

Fixed Term contract ending 31st October 2018

This role will be flexible to cover the needs of both refuges 

The successful person will have an understanding of the effects of domestic abuse on women, young people and children and be committed to working in a non-discriminatory manner.  You will be self motivated, flexible and able to work under pressure.  You must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.  The ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information is essential as is experience of working with women, young people and children in a support setting.  You will be required to work flexibly, including evening and weekend working, all day Sunday and out of hours on a rota basis.  A full driving licence and use of a car is essential.
