young people affected by domestic violence and abuse?

 

As a result of the continued development of Nottinghamshire Women’s Aid Limited we are looking to recruit the following post:

 

Community Services Coordinator

28 hours per week (out of hours working will be required in the posts responsibilities)

£27,052 per annum, pro rata for part time

 

The successful candidate will take management responsibility for the delivery and development of Nottswa community services projects including: the Domestic Abuse Support Service, IDVA & court IDVA services. To ensure that all projects work and develop within Women’s Aid Federation (WAFE) aims and principles and nottswa feminist ethos. To ensure the high quality standards already achieved with Investors in People and Safelives Leading Lights Accreditation are maintained. To work in partnership with other organisations both statutory and non statutory to ensure high quality services for women, children and young people affected by domestic violence and other relevant issues are in place.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. This service is run by women for women and is therefore restricted to women applicants under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, and Part 1 Section 7(2) of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 apply.
