Children’s Refuge Worker
18.5 hours per week – £21,519 per annum, pro rata for part time
This post requires you to work with children and young people who are resident at the refuge. You will work alongside the Refuge Children’s services team to design and deliver creative, innovative, accessible and flexible programmes of work and activities through both one to one support and group work activities. The focus of the work will be on meeting the needs of the children and young people around their experience of Domestic Abuse. The successful candidate will be able to work in a creative, sensitive, flexible, non-discriminatory and non- judgemental way in order to respond to the diverse needs of the children and young people at the refuge. She must be able to create an environment, which encourages children to develop the skills needed to work through their experiences of domestic abuse.

This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.
