Children and young people’s services
This is a service for children and young people from 4 years up to 18 years (21 years for young people with additional needs) who are/have been living with domestic violence or abuse.
We also offer support to women to raise their awareness and understanding of their children’s experiences and impact of domestic abuse. We support children and young people through talking, listening, play, creative activities and group work.
We offer one to one sessions and/or work within a group, to enable children to discuss and explore issues surrounding domestic violence in a safe and friendly environment.
We enable children and young people to express and understand their feelings, build confidence and self-esteem and to build links within the local community.
