28 hours per week

£24,425 per annum pro rata for part time

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. Stand By Her is a training programme designed to help men understand behaviours including sexual harassment and abuse against women. It aims to support men to intervene either directly or indirectly numerous situations.  The successful candidate will work alongside the Business Development Coordinator and our partner, Communities Inc to deliver Stand By Her sessions to a variety of audiences locally, and nationally.

Stand by Her, has been developed by Communities Inc based on their acclaimed bystander intervention Stand by Me program, which encourages more people to respond when they witness people in their environment targeted by hate. Stand by Her aims to encourage men to be more involved and engaged in supporting women when they are threatened with or experience harm from other men. NWAL is a key delivery partner in Stand by Her
