Female Independent Domestic Violence Advocate – Temporary

Hours 18.5 hours per week

Location based The post holder will be based in Mansfield.

Salary £24,770 (unqualified), £26,428 per annum once qualified, pro rata for part time

Purpose of post

The successful person will provide a pro-active service to female victims of domestic abuse. To respond to and provide practical & emotional support, safety planning and early intervention where it has been determined there is high or very high risk or where it has been agreed the victim is in need of IDVA support. A full driving licence and use of a car is essential.

Closing date:  11th June 2024 at 12 noon.           Interview Date: 20th June 2024 at Hickling House, Mansfield.

This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. This service is run by women for women and is therefore restricted to women applicants under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9 Part 1 and Section 7(2) of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975.
